Affiliation of SOP & ABDO

Dear ALL SOP member,

With immediate effect, Singapore Opticianry Practitioners (SOP) has renewed
a pact with Association British Dispensing Optics (ABDO).

With this agreement, SOP & ABDO has being affiliated.

All members will receive the monthly Dispensing Optics journal starting
April 2010, which has being accredited and recognized by the General Optical
Council (GOC) of United Kingdom. The journal will enrich all members with
continuing education.

Prior to reading the Dispensing Optics, the journal will encompass all SOP
members to collate and be accredited with 4 Continuing Professional
Education (CPE) points with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB).

SOP is very thankful to ABDO for the agreement to uphold and help to
leverage the level of opticianry practice in Singapore.
